My name is Bisola. (pronounced) Bee soh la. I am a millennial Creative, Makeup Artist, Actress and has the love for all lifestyle and fashion/beauty related things. although i have recently made a move from new york, it's still in me, i have though about changing the name of the the blog from thechicnewyorker.com to simply my name. but no matter where i go, people know and get the sense of where im from, so i decided to keep it because new york is a place thats means everything to me and i'll for sure be moving back!

I have been blogging for 2 years on and off and i didn't really have a space to do all the specific things that I love when it comes to being a creative, until now. So here i am, mixing my love of makeup AND fashion, which most of the time, if not all, goes hand in hand. Sharing my New York City life experiences day to day, as a Makeup artist, local travel( for now) Food and of course Beauty.
