Is a Bride trial run required?

Yes, previews are required when booking as it builds a relationship of Trust and creates the blueprint for a Flawless wedding day look. They are usually booked 3-4 months before wedding date and will last for about 2.5-3 hours to make room for changes and adjustments.

 

Do you offer Hair Services?

Velvet Atelier Beaute offers makeup services only.

 

Can I book a trial before committing to reserving my date?

Trials are only scheduled for Brides that have already reserved their date due to the demand of multiple requests for the same dates. Trials are scheduled 3-4 months before wedding date.

 

What if I don't know HOW many services to book?

Book the minimum services you are 100% sure of first! You will have up to 3 months before the wedding date to add on additional services.

 

Where does my trial take place at?

Trials are performed at the convenience of your home, unless we discuss a specific venue.

 

Can a Service be removed after booking?

The number of services booked can't be reduced after paying the retainer and signing the contract. (If a bridal party member drops out of a makeup service, you can substitute them with another person)

 

Can more services be added on after booking?

Yes additional makeup services can be added to your booking up to 3 months before wedding date. The more services, depending on how many services is being provided, will require another artist.

 

How long does each glam application take on wedding day?

Bridal Party (Bridesmaids/Moms/Wedding Guests)- 1 hr each person

Bride - 2.5hrs (estimated time)  and should not exceed 2.5hrs. I do not rush the applications for Brides, you deserve the pampering)

 

Do you create a wedding day timeline?

Yes! I create a rough draft timeline 3-4 months before your date and the final timeline that we both agree on is sent 30 days prior to your date.

 

Can you stay for first looks or private vow exchanges prior to ceremony?

Of course! I have a packaged tier that includes bride touchups and styling giving you the full celebrity treatment to make sure you look flawless from head to toe in your photos.

 

How many services can you do?

I can take up to 5 services on my own. Any parties of 6 or more will require a 2nd Artist. All artists have been trained by me and give top tier application/service.

 

Can you take separate payments from my Bridal Party as they are covering their own costs?

Payment is accepted from one payee (bride). If your bridal party is covering their own costs collect the payments from the bridal party and you will send it collectively when due.

 

Can you travel to any location in the dmv or Out Of State?

Yes! I can travel to any location in the DMV and Out of State. Any location over 2 hours drive time will require Hotel Accommodations. Out of State booking will require Travel Accommodations (flight, hotel, transportation, & meals).

 

How early are your Bride's booking their Wedding Date?

6-18 months in advance! Limited dates are currently available for Summer 2026.

 

What do you require to reserve my Wedding Date with you?

Reserving your wedding date requires a 25% retainer and signed contract. Retainers are NOT refundable.
